Singapore may have a diameter of around 10 miles, but it is not short for wildlife. There are over 280 species of butterflies, over 100 of dragonflies, 365 different types of birds, 107 varieties of reptiles, 28 kinds of amphibians, 60 species of mammals, and 1193 different kinds of plants- of approximately 625 which are critically endangered. Even though more and more of it comes to be covered by apartment buildings and shopping centers, there is still wildlife everywhere, in places like MacRitchie Reservoir, Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve, and Bukit Timah Nature Reserve. You just need to look for it.
