Soil Observation Project

Soil Observation Project

Snap close-up pictures of the ground state in your area, and the type of soil. Additionally make note of the type of plants that grow in the area. Don't forget to close your eyes, and listen to the sound of the plants, and breathe in the aroma of the freshness of the leaves.

And don't forget to make note of these observations. (Read Details)

To quote Stefanie Spears, "Many people believe that if you just focus on soil health, everything else will follow."

I believe, that one of the key factors in our ecosystem, that gives way to a healthy ecosystem, is the type of soil that carpets our gardens, our forests, and even our potted plant beds.

You see, most people tend to want a beautiful garden, and they'll bring in beautiful flowers, and plants of every species. Yet, not always, would you find the soil to be fertile, and just earthly to the touch and feel.
This little mission, hopes to bring awareness to people about the types of soils that are around them. By observing the soil, you'll also notice the types of plants that grow, and do not grow in that particular plot of land.
I hope this mission inspires people to start composting in their own backyards, and gardens, and let the plants grow, and the flowers bloom.
Lets beautify our ecosystems, our gardens, our lives. Begin to observe, strive to improve. For without observation, is without knowledge. And having no knowledge, impairs advancement.
