Start a movement in your neighborhood. Create a local mission to put the spotlight on an important environmental issue that's impacting your community.
Local nature missions created by everyday people
With your support, we've built an active community that spans the globe and, today, our participants are making contributions every minute of every day. Now, we want to give you the option to tap into this powerful network of nature lovers. With user created local missions, you can create, manage, and promote your very own local Project Noah mission.
User created local missions have been designed for small groups, classrooms, and individual users. If you're a larger organization interested in tapping into our global community of citizen scientists, we can work with you to create a custom mission. Here's how it works...
Choose a name and category for your mission. Missions that focus on a specific category like "Arthropods" or "Birds" tend to be more successful, but you can also create a mission for "All Wildlife."
Fill out the details and select the geographical area where your mission will take place. Keep in mind that your mission must fall within a radius of at most 300 miles (482 km).
Submit your mission and start getting people to join! You can have up to 3 missions active at the same time. Spread the word by sharing your missions' dedicated web address through email, Twitter, and Facebook.
