The grey cheeks and black markings on the side of the throat along with the location make this a maculicollis sub-species, as per the scientific name I have given.
By the way, please check the dates you have put for taking these pictures as you appear to have spottings fron both Hong Kong and Thailand on the same date. This date defaults to the date posted if you do not complete this information but can be corrected via the "edit this spotting" link, as can the habitat information for where you saw it. These are important fields for accuracy in our database.

Welcome to Project Noah, londonzoe,
I hope you like the site as much we do; there are many features you can explore:
I invite you to go to http://www.projectnoah.org/faq where you will find the purpose and “rules” of Project Noah.
There is a blog http://blog.projectnoah.org/ where we post articles from spotters with special insight into different organisms.
There are also the chats for help with identification, and to comment on your own and others’ spottings.
Look at the global and local missions to put your spottings into:http://www.projectnoah.org/missions
Enjoy yourself here, see you around!
