Gram Blue Butterfly

Description:

Tailed, light grey butterfly marked with thin lines and eye spots (orange white and black). In the male upper surface of the wings is pale violet-blue. This one is a male. When the wings are closed it looks like a totally different butterfly as the colour combination is white, brown yellow and orange....what a lovely contrast.

Habitat:

On a potted basil plant. Rooftop terrace garden.
