Garden Orb Spider

Araneus hamiltoni

Habitat:

forest area , dogwood , gums , eucalypt , banksia's . Adults of these species make the characteristic huge vertical wheel-like webs.f

Notes:

Garden Orb Weaving Spiders are a common species...scattered everywhere throughout all different types of bushes, shrubs and tree's , and the pattern is highly variable as well as colourings. Male - Araneus hamiltoni ( had some help from the author of WEBS in Tasmania )
