Description:

Large water birds that make up the family Pelecanidae. They are characterized by a long beak and a large throat pouch used for catching prey and draining water from the scooped-up contents before swallowing.

Habitat:

This Pelican [& Pele-can't] extended family, have based themselves on the man-made lagoon & bird-sanctuary; Mullers Lagoon, in Bowen. Q Au.

Notes:

As you can see by the divers ducks ducking, there is plenty of food for all...
