"We love the beautiful, minimalist pattern on this flatid planthopper (Cerynia maria), our Spotting of the Day! Flatidae (Order Hemiptera, Infraorder Fulgoromorpha) are a family of planthoppers with a cosmopolitan distribution. All species in the genus Cerynia are found in Asia, with 4 species including Cerynia maria found in China".
