Coffea arabica

Description:

Coffea arabica is of Ethiopia origin, and it was also present in Boma Plateau in South Sudan and on Mount Marsabit in northern Kenya. The species is widely naturalised in areas outside its native land, in many parts of Africa, Latin America, Southeast Asia, China, and assorted islands in the Caribbean and in the Pacific. The pictured bean bearing Coffea arabica tree, was spotted in Wellington botanic gardens NZ.
