Description:

Parasitic species specific to longan/lychee trees. cousin to cicadas . Needle like mouth piece used for piercing barks for tree sap.

Habitat:

Lives in Vietnam, Hong Kong , Laos , Thailand and other parts of SE Asia.

Notes:

Spotted at Wat Umomg in Chiang Mai, Thailand on November 6, 2014
