Lycosidae

Notes:

This gave me the heebeegeebees...........found this rather large spider scrambling across a damp meadow. She was covered in tiny baby spiders.

I am new to Project Noah. How do I respond to someone's comment? MaryEvans2, ohmygosh, I would climb the walls if one of these was in my house. Shudder. Especially with babies scattering in every direction.

nice spot to have seen this in the woods. Unfortunately we get them quite often in our home.

they are pretty creepy looking. My daughter made the mistake once of attempting to shoo one away with a towel (spider was found in her bathroom) when all of a sudden hundreds of babies were running everywhere! Scared her to death.
