Leptoglossus sp.
Brown bugs with wings, approximately 1/2" long.
My front yard on a large succulent for now.
Added photos #2 & #3 to show underside of bug. Numbers 4 & 5 show some more details of his anatomy.
You're welcome. I'm curious just which exact species it is. Most of them have some sort of distinctive marking, or a contrasting color on the antenna. I've never seen one exactly like these before.
Oxyjack is correct. I wasn't sure which is why I didn't suggest the ID :) just tried to give a starting point. We get both assassins and leaf-footed bugs here to. I have +1 his ID. Got to love Bugguide and PN- hope you have a wonderful Easter weekend.
Thanks, MaryEvans2, I Googled assassin bugs and these bugs DO look a lot like them. However, Googling Oxyjack's identification yielded what looks to me like a closer match. And, I've got to admit, his credentials are pretty impressive, too. :-)
I was not able to determine the species, but I've learned a lot reading about them. Note the long tube (visible between the pair) that they use for feeding. A couple of sites have great info, especially

Unfortunately, this is a plant feeder. There's a species in Arizona that specializes on cactus. I'm not sure which exact species this is, but it's definitely a Leptoglossus bug.
