Mallard Hen

Anas platyrynchos

Description:

It is also known as the Wild Duck. The males have a blue head while the females have a brown head. It eats water plants. They are usually 50-65 centimeters long, and it's wingspan is 81-98 centimeters. Their average life expectancy is around 20 years.

Habitat:

It lives in temperate and subtropical climates. It is native to Florida as well as Europe, Asia, and North Africa. However, it was introduced to Australia and New Zealand.

Do you have another angle? I'm pretty sure it's a Mallard (Anas platyrynchos) hen, but it may be a Blue-winged Teal (Anas discors) hen.
