Description:

Small shrub with glossy green leaves, 1/2 in long, that bears long lavender flowers in late spring and summer.

Habitat:

Full sun to part sun. Likes well-drained soil, and is fairly drought tolerant.

Notes:

Leaves have a similar scent and flavor to oregano and are used in Mexico for their oregano like flavor.
