Blitum capitatum
Spotted growing out of a vertical bank along the Bow River in Calgary Alberta Canada mid August. The berries are a raspberries type with smaller black seeds, the fruit was sweet but had little taste. The branches are pliable and thornless all radiating out of a single base and were 2-3 feet long. The leaves were serrated arrow shaped.

I would have found the name of this plant sooner if I had realized the berries appear to look like diseased strawberries, not raspberries. Silly me 😃
