Crotalaria spectabilis

Description:

Long leggy stems with long oval leaves with stems or yellow pea-like flowers that then develop into pods that turn brown and rattle when you shake them.

Habitat:

Southeastern states along roads. I have tried to show you some of the stages of the flowers and pod development.
