I do not believe this is a wild giraffe. If you had looked at the patterns for the subspecies, you would have seen this is a reticulated giraffe, which is found in Kenya. The South African giraffe looks nothing like this. I think their title of "Giraffe of south africa" is simply saying they saw it in South Africa.

Hi there. Since you know the identity of your organism, please go ahead and fill in the scientific name field. This allows the spotting to fully enter the database and become complete, letting groups and individuals use the data and find your spotting. It also takes the spotting off the "unidentified" list.
