Description:

Perennial, woody base of 25-75 cm tall with erect stems, glabrous below. Leaves alternate, bi-or trifoliate with lanceolate leaflets up to 3.5 mm wide. Inflorescences in loose, panicle glandular with lanceolate sporophylls. Typically 4 sepals and 4 petals free, the central flowers also pentafoliadas. Calyx glabrous, triangular oval, 2 mm alrgo, yellow petals, elliptic to obovate, up to 4 mm wide and 6 mm long, filamentous fringed at the margin that are as wide as the width of the petal. 8 or 10 stamens. Which becomes superior ovary ena capsule 4 or 5 laciniae.

Habitat:

Dry grasslands, scrublands.
