Habitat:

Shallow wetlands in wooded areas.

Notes:

Probably 3" long, is that too big to be a spring peeper?

Yes that is too big to be a Spring Peeper. This is either a Gray Tree Frog or a Cope's Gray Tree Frog. Both are in range and cannot be distinguished visually, so you can just put the ID as being both as "Gray/Cope's Gray Tree Frog" and "Hyla versicolor/chrysoscelis" as the scientific name.
