Citrus Swallowtail

Papilio demodocus

Description:

Seen along a pathway in central England but, although I was very pleased to see it, I fear it is just an escape from the nearby butterfly farm! Is it, - coincidentally, one of those Lime Butterflies? .or possibly a Christmas Butterfly?

Habitat:

Edge of town, pathway with wildflower edge.
