Freesia

Iridaceae

Description:

I saw these Freesia's growing wild in a roadside verge, on the Aegean Coast of Turkey, and thought it unusual. But then as I looked round I could see where garden rubbish had been dumped. So I assume these were originally garden plants but seem to be thriving in the roadside verge.
