Calendula officinalis
spotted in a weat meadow,i presume it's a strange invasive plant that was brougth by a bird,or by the flood,it's only one,so i'll tranplant it for my garden if is invasive http://rbgeherbaljournal.blogspot.com.au...
:) it's not easy,it as many latin influencies.like in the scientif name of this plant, the name in portuguese is very similar,Calendula in latin and Calêndula in portuguese, you have many portuguese in Australia:)as in all the world,we are 15 millions people and 5 millions are over the world 1\3 of the population, there are portuguese in every corner of the world,we began early this global movement of people and cultures arround the world, last scientif researh's say that we arrive to Australia even before Cook, and America before Columbus(a portuguese, but in spanish service)

@Argy i'am a very bad english writer:)my english is more from listen to films,so sorry for the confusion,i want to say wet meadow,i thougth that i was rigth, but it's not weat or weet ,no, it's wet:)normaly moisted, ,completly wet in winter(nov\dec\jan) and in the summer time is harvest and planted with corn.My latest spottings are about this meadow and the biodiversity inside. In the past the meadow little river was completly poluted, but 10 years ago they clen it completly and the changes are amazing,in a few years mother nature make a spectacular recovering and now when you look at the lands scape you se the diference, much more variety of species and no smeel at all.I have here material to the next times of my noah wave :)thanks again for your interest,i'am with no time to spend here at the moment but in time i'll make justice to all that continue to follow my spottings,
Hi Antonio. It's very good for all of us to think about what is invasive. So many of your spottings are in 'weat meadow'. I need to know 'weat' - Is it 'wet' covered in water? Thanks.
