A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
Any of 2,000 widely distributed species of bugs (order Heteroptera). They occur in a wide range of environments and vary in size, shape, and colour. Their wings usually lie in a depression on the back. Some feed only on plants, others on insects, and some on both. The general morphological features of Coreidae are an oval-shaped body, antennae composed of four segments, a numerously veined forewing membrane, a metathoracic stink gland and enlarged hind tibia
Coreids are found throughout the world but most species are found in the tropics and subtropics.

Your welcome, I wish I could define it further. There are so many species that without a thorough investigation of all parts of the bug it is nearly impossible. You might want to do a look through on Bugguide.net
