Description:

Upright, downy-hairy annual. Leaves elongate-oval and hairy below. Flowers deep blue with white or purple central patch, and 15-17mm long; borne in spiked heads March-June. Pods hairy, ripening brown.

Habitat:

Sandy soils, from Iberia to Greece.
