Aldabra Giant Tortoise

Description:

The Aldabra Giant Tortoise is one the largest tortoise in the world and are among the longest lived animals living to over 200years.

Habitat:

Changuu Island, Zanizbar.

Notes:

These tortoise are originally from the Aldabra Atoll in the Seychelles. They were brought in the 1910s to Zanzibar as a gift from the Seychelles Government to the British Major residing in Zanzibar. Over the years there has been numerous thefts. They are now being protected.
