Description:

This "Canturia" o "ciervo volante" (flying deer) is really beautiful and colorful. Depending on climate conditions, the Cantaria makes its appearance as early as December and continuing into March in south of Chile (patagonia)

Habitat:

Rainforest. Parque Nacional Queulat. Rain: 2000 - 4000 mm al año.

Wow! what a fantastic beetle!
