McCoys skink

Anepischetosia maccoyi

Description:

A small to medium skink with tiny arms and legs. Variable but often showing a rainbow sheen. Tail is relatively long and, possibly due to relatively short legs, these skinks wriggle very much like a snake.

Habitat:

Within the debris of a fallen eucalyptus base in an outer urban back yard. Possibly finding termites.

Notes:

Previous find of this had a yellow belly.
