Pomacanthus paru
Photo take at -40 ft on a coral reef this Angel fish dig the sandy bottom looking for lunch very common in this area usually in pares. The adult background coloration is black but the scales of the body, except those at the front from nape to abdomen, are rimmed with golden yellow. Furthermore the pectoral fins have a broad orange-yellow bar, the dorsal filament is yellow, the chin is whitish, the outer part of the iris is yellow, and the eye is narrowly rimmed below with blue. Juveniles are black with vertical yellow bands.
Found in shallow reefs and rocky and sandy bottoms from Florida, the Gulf of México, Central America to the North of Brazil.

Very nice fish and series; it is amazing how you could also capture the way in which the eyes' iris moved looking at you...I had never noticed an eye fish sort of looking backwards...greetings =)
