White rhino

Ceratotherium simum

Description:

Rhinoceros are being poached at an alarming rate for their horns (which are believed to have potent medicinal powers and made of hair-like fibre, not bone or ivory) and considered vulnerable, so it was a delight to spot several of them in the wild - alive and with their horns intact.
