This female surfaced with something and shook it like they do with fish to kill it, but I have no idea what it is. Any help? Thanks

Anhingas, prey primarily on fish, but there diet also includes aquatic invertebrates and insects. The anhinga, does have a preferred diet of fish, but will also eat water snakes, tadpoles, frog eggs, and young alligators. Anhingas, may eat insects, crayfish, snakes, frog eggs, etc. Amphibians: frogs and newts. Reptiles: snakes and turtles. Invertebrates: insects and shrimp. Could be any one of these.....
