Description:

Photo take at -40 ft on the coral reef this small colony of tunicates grows direct from the reef formations about 5mm tall each and 6 cm diameter the colony. They are marine filter feeders with a saclike morphology. In their respiration and feeding they take in water through an inhalant siphon and expel the filtered water through an exhalant siphon.
