Long-legged Fly

Condylostylus caudatus

Description:

Very small and wonderfully colorful. There were many observed on this particular large bush in the back yard of the house where we were visiting. They tend to move around quickly on the leaves, running and flying, which can make it difficult to get a good photo of them.

Notes:

I believe the photo on the left is a male. The one on the right may be a female but I don't have a better shot to confirm.
