Australian Little ravens

Corvus mellori

Description:

Food lessons on a wet day. The young bird is still in need of 'force feeding' but I'm sure learning fast. The food is a discarded apple. The parent has white eyes whereas the youngster has dark ones.

Habitat:

Rural roadside near national parks.

Notes:

The call of this bird can be heard here but I wouldn't recommend it http://www.xeno-canto.org/species/Corvus...

Thanks Neil. Sitting in a cafe with well back from thick glass and fairly dark outside... the results were a pleasant surprise :-)
