Description:

Big, tall, tan-colored, four-legged animals with dark brown neck and heads and a very white rear end.

Habitat:

These elk were wandering about on two sides of a road just off the south rim of the Grand Canyon. Wooded area. Cool morning. Some puddles around (including one being bathed in).
