Eastern Painted Turtle

Description:

His name is Van Gogh and is likely to be about a year old at the time of this post. He was rescued from a park while on a kayaking trip; his legs had been snagged by thread or some sort of string and he would likely not have survived since we were able to grab him right out of the water. He lives happily in a huge tank with lots of fish friends and is very well taken care of.
