AWESOME!!!!!! Doesn't sting, doesn't bite, no venom... essentially Harmless, and extremely fascinating! I am Soooooo jealous you found one of these. :) May give a little pinch with the pinchers, but they are so shy and skittish it is very unlikely to do so. (I've got a Florida species as classroom pet, and he won't go anywhere near my hand.)

While this is a tailless whip scorpion, saying "Amblypygi sp" is very incorrect. Amblypygi is an order, and you can't just put a specific epithet after it. Any ID suggestion above genus should be left in the comments since the ID suggestion box italicizes what you put for the scientific name, and italicizing anything above genus is incorrect.
