We went there today thanks to your very accurate locating. I almost snapped this very plant - not surprised you took it as it was very appealing. There were amazing fungi there. Did you see the red stinkhorns?
Yes, imagine trying to engineer this flower, I'd get all the pins tangled. Hey Argybee, this is growing on the same bed with the birds nest fungus previouas spotting =)

These are an incredible design aren't they.
Thanks for your comments. Spinulosa in Latin means spiny and probably refers to the long thin leaves that end in pointy spine.
