Description:

Large white swan with an orange bill bordered where the bill meets the face by a black margin. Most easily identified North American Swan. The gray individual is a juvenile and lacks the orange bill at this time.

Wetlands

Notes:

Listed as an Occasional bird on the Checklist of Birds of McLean County (Illinois), yet has been present at this location for the last four years arriving in the Spring in small numbers.
