Description:

Located in Huntly meadows park in the marsh in between lizard tail, button bush, and arrow arum plants. Measured aprox. 18-20mm.

Notes:

The day was hot, muggy, and sunny. The spotting was on the outside of the boardwalk circle near the south viewing platform.

A.k.a. Yellow Garden Spider. Nice find! I don't think I've seen these at Huntley, though I've found tons of them over by the river above Belle Haven. It'll grow up to be one of these:
