@Nicholas4, sorry I can explain about this plant, I' m not sure, in my opinion it's not edible plant, because i' m not see animal around it.
Possibly persimmon?

Looks a bit like a Loquat fruit, but its not that..can you tells us any more about it? is it edible? if not sure, did you see animals eating it? or did you see any signs that animals might have eaten it?
