Cychlaris gujanensis ochrocephala
It measures about 16.5 centimeters, has head and beak disproportionate to the body. The beak is all gray with light pink tone, powerful aspect and ending with a fine point, face down, looks like a beak of a bird of prey on a bird. The colors are unique, with a gray head and neck, a clear and characteristic reddish brown band on the eyes (dark orange in adults, uniform brown in juveniles). Top of head olive or dark gray. Chest, a wide yellow band separates the stomach and throat light gray, almost white. Greenish brown back. Male and female are identical.
Occurs in much of Brazil, specifically This subspecies lives in southeastern Brazil in areas of forests and savannas.
