Spotting

Description:

Slug

Habitat:

Washington State Rainforest (kinda...)

Notes:

I spotted this slug walking to work the other day. I know they are everywhere, but I've noticed there are two different types of slugs. This one tends to be smaller with a darker color with no "hood" like the "Banana Slugs" I've seen which are much larger, yellowish, and have a "hoodlike" structure above the antennae.
