crab

Description:

Two mother crabs found at the beach. Both crabs have purplish claws. The crab on the right is smaller than the crab on the left. Both crabs' legs are holding onto their eggs. The crab on the right is more healthy than the crab on the left because the more orange eggs the better.

Habitat:

In a tide pool on Fowler's Beach

Notes:

I wonder if the crab on the right is younger than the crab on the left because the crab on the right is smaller than the crab on the left. I also wounder how defensive the mother crab will be if a predator gets to close to her eggs.
