Hi! This is a Spring Peeper, Pseudacris crucifer. They are so named "crucifer" for the distinctive X marking on their backs. Commonly heard in early spring- call sounds like their name: "Peeper peeper". More info here: http://www.amphibiaweb.org/cgi-bin/amphi...
