Description:

his is a cormous common Mediterranean plant blooming at the end of April and early May. Usually the leaves are gone when its blooming. The flowers are pending. This plant was taken at the Jerusalem Botanical Gardens, but it is spontaneous there, growing with many other wild flowers.

rocky Mediterranean and semidesert
