Description:

The papaya is the fruit of papaya, belonging to the species of the genus Carica papaya. It's typical of tropical and subtropical regions, is known for papaya in Mexico; In Northeast Brazil. Found throughout the year. Its size, weight, taste and color vary according to the species. The papaya can be consumed in natura, in the form of sweets, juices and salads. It is rich in nutrients. Contains large amounts of minerals, calcium, phosphorus, iron, sodium and potassium, vitamins A and C. It has laxative and calming properties. In Brazil more than 57 varieties of papaya are known.
