The Beetle with Binomial ID Dorysthenes bugueti is as following and does not match with this spotted beetle...

Hi Katawut. I think Ashish means that he does not agree with your scientific name for this beetle. The name you have looks like this... http://www.richard-seaman.com/Wallpaper/...
The name that ToshimiDowaki has used looks correct. If you agree please can you change the name. If you do not agree please tell us all why. Thanks for a very good spotting and photos.

Answer to AshishNimkar,
The one on your comment was spotted by ToshimiDowaki, not mine.
It is the same kind of Beetle, he found it in Bangkok but mine was Kanchanaburi Province, Western Thailand. I don't know about binomial ID Dorysthenes bugueti ...? What is that.. ? Please advise

He might do a lot of damage but what a great looking beetle ! Is he a long-horned beetle ?- his eyes seem to wrap around the antennae. Great set of photos -thanks.
