Common Quail

Description:

Small hen-like birds. Streaky grey in colour.

Habitat:

We were leaving Thol Bird Sanctuary (around Thol Lake) and it was getting dark. These birds had just ventured out from the bushes onto the road. Took the photo from the car...even the slight movement of lowering the window alarmed them.
