Oreamnos americanus
Beautiful creatures with black horns and long white coats to keep them warm.
High elevation rocky mountains ( they need those long coats at 14,000 foot peaks)
This guy was watching over his herd-mates from on top of a rock. Like my other spottings of these goats, this one was on Mount Evans, where we saw them after hiking.

Thanks Adam! Good luck, hope you get some mammal spottings! :D I have a few spottings I need to load, but I didn't bring my camera today. My mom and me road our bikes to my grandpa's house. Anyways, good luck! Have fun!
I still like this....I haven't been able to post anything new in a while. I haven't had much luck the past couple times I went out for photos. This weekend though, I'll be camping out near gorgetown with my parents who are up from Texas...i'm hoping to get some good photos.
Thanks a bunch Stian!! Thanks for following me as well! :) Appreciate it.
Fantastic pictures Lyndsey!
Thanks guys!! I really appreciate the comments.
Adam, no I haven't, but I plan on it, because we share a name, I have to climb it some time. :D And isn't mount Elbert the highest in the state? Nice! Thanks for the link, I'll have to check it out.:)
Lyndsey.....a little off the topic of mountain goats....but have you ever hiked Mount Lindsey....you should...i know it's a different spelling but you were still meant to do it.;) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mount_Linds...
