Scrawled Filefish

Aluterus scriptus

Habitat:

coral and rocky reefs, seaweed fields, wrecks and also in open water.

Notes:

Seen while snorkeling right off of the seawall on my own on a recent Grand Cayman cruise visit. After taking a few photos of the larger one, I noticed it was being followed by a smaller one. (Perhaps a male following a female? or maybe just a juvenile?) seen in lower right in last pic.
